More CIPR PRide Award wins for markettiers4dc clients
Last Friday saw Blue Zebra PR scoop not one but two CIPR PRide Awards. The award winning campaign strategy for ‘National Vaccination 2008’ included a broadcast strand developed and executed by markettiers4dc in conjunction with Blue Zebra. Thames & Chiltern Pride 2008 awarded Blue Zebra PR with the winning Gold award for ‘Consumer‘ and ‘Best Use of Media Relations’ – both competitive categories.
The aim was to raise awareness to encourage pet owners to have their pets vaccinated. The Intervet broadcast campaign achieved radio coverage including 48 commercial and BBC stations across the UK with a potential audience reach of 3,979,000, plus audio features and podcasts to coincide with ‘Vaccination Month’.
Comments from the CIPR judges for the Consumer category said the campaign was, ‘thoughtful, well researched, well planned and exceptionally delivered campaign, resulting in many more vaccinated pets and a very significant business benefit for their client.’ They went on to say of the media category, ‘The proof of the pudding is in the evidence with this hugely successful media relations exercise. By empowering key client stakeholders in the media management process, Blue Zebra was able to leverage significant additional coverage across a range of media. An excellent piece of work.’
