We run regular workshops on all aspects of the Broadcast Communications mix to give you the opportunity to find out exactly how to benefit from radio, TV and the web as well as gain a detailed understanding of how these three media are converging, giving you the knowledge on how to react to the way audiences are now demanding their media how they want, when they want and where they want!
Workshops are available on Broadcast PR (including a Studio Workshop), Briefing Spokespeople, Understanding Convergence, Effective Use of Research, Evaluating Broadcast Coverage, Online Focus Groups, Podcasting, Social Networking, Engagement Through Viral Activity and WebTV.
Each session aims to not only give attendees valuable advice and tips on how to make the most of your campaigns, but also, where appropriate, a chance to get first hand, simulated live broadcast experience, as we'll give you the chance to get behind the mic and in front of the camera in one of our five broadcast studios.
To support the pro-bono work for our nominated charity of the year, Children's Hospices UK (the charity that gives voice and support to all children’s hospice services) we have decided to set up a Justgiving page to allow attendees to donate a minimum fee of £50 per place for participating in our workshops (discounts will apply for multiple bookings from one company). While we continue to provide workshops as requested of us about the broadcast environment we hope that attendees look upon the small donation to Children's Hospices UK as a recognition of the value and benefit gained b them.
Workshops are very informal and, according to the feedback we've have, as well as being highly informative, are great fun - especially as we ensure there's plenty of refreshments provided during the session.

Kate Redway, PR Officer, Samaritans
“Thanks so much for the training last Thursday. It was a very informative whirlwind tour of the world of online PR and converging media; it was esp. good to hear about some real online PR instead of just having meaningless blurb flouted at you, brandishing the words podcast and blog without thinking about the ramifications properly and about the larger picture.”
Richard Rigby, Senior Account Executive, bgb communications
